Dr. Michelle Stauffer, PT, DPT, NBC-HWC (she/her)

Education: Dr. Stauffer holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Stauffer received her bachelors of science in Exercise Science, with additional concentrations in Chemistry and Health Wellness Coaching from Northern Arizona University. After receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Dr. Stauffer has gone on to become a National Board Certified Health Wellness Coach, a Certified Functional Nutrition Informed Professional, a Sports Medical Emergency Responder, and a Level 2 Trigger Point Dry Needling Certified Clinician (only 2 levels).
Community Service: Dr. Stauffer is the programming chair for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) LGBT+ Physical Therapy Special Interest Group. She is on the Colorado APTA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Committee. Dr. Stauffer has been a proud sponsor of the Denver Gay and Lesbian Flag Football League since 2022. She has been the on-site sports medical provider for the Denver Squid Annual Water Polo Tournament since 2022.
Personal: Michelle grew up in Phoenix, AZ, then moved to Flagstaff, AZ, and is currently residing in Denver, CO. Michelle enjoys the Colorado lifestyle through and through. No matter the season the best place to find Michelle is out in nature. Skiing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, off-roading, or simply a day trip out of the city; chances are Michelle is out and about exploring. The off chance Michelle remains in the city, it is to watch one of the local sports teams play, and odds are it’s the Denver Nuggets. Michelle enjoys spending time at home working on her garden and finding restorative projects (such as the 1972 John Deere Road Bike she refurbished).
